John Kinsner
Founder and CEO, Black Ink Presents
John Kinsner is the chief executive officer, co-owner and visionary founder of Black Ink Presents, a leader in turn-key solutions for music performances and experiential entertainment including “live-to-film” shows where a full orchestra or band performs in sync with a film or other media. John’s life-long interest in David Bowie’s “Labyrinth” led to the collaboration with the Jim Henson Company to produce “Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert,” a 30-city North American tour launching September 24, 2024 on Jim Henson’s birthday.
The entertainment industry veteran pursues his passion for storytelling through music, events, and media. He has worked on, produced and developed tours for Live Nation, AEG, Sony Masterworks, Fifth Season, William Morris Endeavor, CAA & Disney. With an early history of making bootleg mix tapes for his friends and working in arena operations (starting at the age of sixteen), it’s no surprise that John has emerged as one of the most skilled producers and creatives in the industry.
Over the past twenty years, John has produced, created, and managed a multitude of full-scale tours, galas, world premieres, media shoots, red carpet events, and awards shows. He has worked on collaborations with Disney Concerts, Sony, Paramount, NBCU, Danny Elfman, Elton John, Dick Clark Productions, Live Nation, and the Academy of Theatrical Arts and Sciences.
